This is a really nice album by Jocie Guo. If you're into standard Chinese pop songs, I think you'll like the songs on this album as well. The only song that's a ballad that I uploaded is 'Bu Yao Pa'. Everything else is pretty much pop / dance. I didn't upload the entire upload to those who are wondering. The only ones I uploaded are my personal favorites ;D

Comments: Jade Valerie was the previous singer of Sweetbox. She left the band in late 2006 to pursue her solo career. Bittersweet Symphony is her first album that followed a mini album she had released earlier called Out of the Box. Unbreakable follows the beautiful, haunting melody of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata and as Jade says herself, it's a song about someone that broke her not-so-breakable heart. If you've loved the dramatic ballads she did previously in Sweetbox, you'll love this even more. It really brings out the real Jade in her and she takes something that she does so well to a whole new level.

As anyone can see, I haven't updated the music journal in well over a year. I had originally planned to close the journal down completely seeing as how I wasn't using it at all but I had an urge to upload a song today. As for the future of the journal, I don't know. I'm a fickle person and I haven't been into music as much as I used to be. I might update the journal, I might not...it'll just be a suprise everytime. I don't know why but it's such a great song. It's not really like her typical pop songs that are extremely dance~ish. This one is a little bit on the lighter side.

I know I keep uploading songs with A+ ratings. It's just cause I'm uploading my favorite songs for now =P

Comments: Another personal favorite of mine, Itooshi Hito No Tame Ni is the opening theme for the anime series Fushigi Yuugi. There aren't that many anime themes that I'm absolutely crazy about but this is definitely one of them. The slow version is just GORGEOUS. I really reccomend this if you're into ballads. The instrumental parts with the piano and strings orchestra are simply beautiful.

Comments: Color Palette is the first Nan Quan Ma Ma album I've downloaded. After I heard Xiang Cao Ba Phu and What Can I Do, I decided to really try Nan Quan Ma Ma and not just sample a few songs. Color Palette is a fairly new album. Most of the songs seemed a bit average to me but a couple really stood out, this one especially. It's got a nice, soft melody and rather amazing instrumentals in the background. I've been listening to this song all night and all I can say is that it really relaxes me. So...since this is the only song in the update, it'd mean a lot if you would sample it.

And since its just one song, please leave a comment. A simple thanks will do. I kinda know which song you took o.0 and no you dont need an LJ account. Isn't that nifty?

And I'm leaving for China for 3 weeks starting this friday the 21st so this music LJ will be on hiatus. Then again, not like I've been updating much. Wow...now I remember why I never have the motivation to make an update. I was looking through the download numbers of the songs vs the number of comments...I think maybe only 20% of people commented. Oh well...it don't matter. I do this for fun but some changes will be made.

First of all, no more requests. I'll upload random songs at random times, whenever I feel up to it. Based on the comments I get, I'll know what people liked and didn't like and then base the rest of my updates on them.

Second of all, no more large updates. They take too much time and are actually quite tiring since uploading all the songs take a while. I'll have smaller updates but maybe this way, I'll update more often too so it evens out.

Energy - Get Away [ Mandarin ; Rock ] -- I don't know why I even kept this song in the first place. It's just one bad attempt at rock in my opinion.

Hamasaki Ayumi - Who... (Blue Obsession Mix) ~Acoustic Orchestra Version~ [ Japanese ; Ballad ] -- I love the original version of Who... but this one just seems kind of...messy? It's a bit mellow but I think there's too much going on in the instrumentals.

Hitomi - Innocence [ Japanese ; Pop/Ballad ] -- Okay song I think...I'm just a little bored of it. It takes a while for the song to actually pick up, like maybe 2 minutes. Hitomi songs sound kind of similiar, maybe its just something about her vocals.

Horie Yui - Egao no Mirai e [ Japanese ; Pop ] -- I used to be really into Horie Yui but now I think I'm kind of past the standard shoujo type anime songs.

I'm sorry I've neglected this mLJ for so long without any update or news or anything. School's just been a pain...and I haven't been able to come home to make any updates until now. I'll try for an update sometime soon...I'll need to clean out some of my music so like before, I'll upload the songs before I delete them for anyone who wants them. ^^

But yes...summer break is here so I will go back to uploading songs from time to time...I think the only change that will be made around here is that I won't do super large updates anymore...like 10 songs+. They take too long and too much effort =/ Smaller updates are always better anyway.

I hate to be the bringer of bad news but I won't be able to upload the songs ._.

I couldn't make it home this weekend due to something coming up that was beyond my control. To be honest, I don't know when I'll be able to go home next. Not having a car really bites :x I'll try to make a MV update some time soon since it's been a while since I've made any kind of an update. Again I'm sorry. I've been really busy with school and such lately.

For now, pluggage to two new communities in case they strike any one's interests.

pinyin -- From Chinese characters to Pin Yin and vice versa
romanize -- From Japanese characters to Romaji and vice versa

In a nutshell, we basically pinyinize (made up word) and romanize (made up word again) anything you have in mind :) The only exception is song lyrics as there are other communities for that. We provide translations too if you need them as well.

Comments: Rie Fu's Life Is Like A Boat is the first ending them to the anime, Bleach. It's a really gorgeous ballad. The lyrics to it are amazing and they really describe life very well. Half of the song is in English so whether or not you understand Japanese, you'll really get into this song. Most of Rie Fu's songs sound the same and I have to say that I'm not a fan of her but I heart this song. It just flows so well.

Comments: Jiu Shi Wo is a real toe tapper...well, unless youre the dancing type, then its a real dance~ish song (I'm bad with adjectives). The MV's not too bad, mostly just dance scenes although there are short scenes here and there towards the beginning of JJ Lin and a girl. If you're into JJ Lin, I'm sure you've heard this song so thus you already know what a great song it is.

If anyone is interested in a Japanese translation LJ, check out ryochan11189. He's already translated quite a few songs and he takes requests are well if you have anything in mind that you want translated. He is Japanese so all translations will be accurate.

And here is the story about my tags as a couple people have pointed this out :) I know that tags will still work without the underscore. So why do I have them? Back when tags first came out, LJ went through this period of time where all tags that had a space in between then would not work. So, I changed them all to underscores. By the the time LJ fixed the problem, I really didn't want to go through and change ALL of my tags so I leave them as underscores. Looks ugly but maybe I'll do something about them during the summer when I'm bored and I have several hours on my hands.

Cyndi's version isn't that different from the original, in a way I like it better although Cyndi and Shimatani vocals are very much simiilar. The song has a nice cheerful feel to it that just makes you want to smile.

First thing to be deleted. Kelly Chen usually sings Cantonese/Mandarin songs but GRACE is a Japanese album. I've had the album for a while but I never really got into it. Her songs on it just seemed flat and lacks a lot of the emotion and depth that you generally should expect from a song. But in case anyone's interested, feel free to take. Maybe you'll like it more than me :)

First things first. If you downloaded the Dang (When) song by Alec Su, please change the artist name to Dong Li Huo Che (Powerstation). Thanks to kandi_heartz & pop2popz for correcting me.

Second, I've changed some of the info on the userinfo page. Please glance at it as I've changed some of the things I do around here since I first started the LJ :)

Third, if you didn't catch my last post, I am currently deleting songs off my computer to make room for new ones. Songs will be uploaded before they are deleted and will be posted here in case anyone wants them.

Fourth, from now on, no more crazed messed up mp3 list that I typed out by hand. It was getting hard to manage so I got rid of it and made a new one that will be 99.9% mistake-free.

Sorry for the long time no update. I've really been slacking on a lot of things this winter break ._. I'm probably going to delete some music off my laptop to make room for new ones. Comments: This song is so familiar but you don't realize it until the chorus. In a nutshell, it's Amazing Grace but sort of a variation of it. Ming Yat Yan Din adds a poppy feel to it along with some new melodies here and there. Only the chorus parts maintain the original Amazing Grace. It's very well composed and Joey Yung is just an amazing artist to begin with. Anyone who knows Cantonese care to translate the title for me? ^_^

Iida Kaori has a very calming and soothing voice, that's the best that I can describe it. The song itself suits her voice very well. It's rather light yet not boring, easy to get into.

Comments: My love for this song is infinite. Dang is one of the theme songs for the well known Chinese drama Huan Zhu Ge Ge, probably the most popular drama to ever hit the face of the earth in China. I remember trying to find excuses to watch it with my parents. Anyhow, this song is fit to be for a drama. It's dramatic yet still manages to keep a very nice melodic sound that you usually don't expect from a dramatic song. The beginning will always remain my favorite because it was played during the drama so much during all of those heart-felt moments.

I have no idea why the song is called what it is but it's not that different from the original.
