Anyhow, Joy to the World is a very famous melody that I'm sure you're familiar with. And what to make it better than traditional Chinese instruments so well played by 12 Girls Band? This is definitely a must have for anyone into Christmas melodies. 12 Girls Band are very well known for taking popular melodies and making them even better.

Now I'm not the biggest fan of Jolin Tsai, extremely picky about her music actually so to have one finally on repeat for 2 days...that's really saying something. I just LOVE this song. I don't know why but it's such a great song. It's not really like her typical pop songs that are extremely dance~ish. This one is a little bit on the lighter side.

I know I keep uploading songs with A+ ratings. It's just cause I'm uploading my favorite songs for now =P

Comments: Sadly, Utada Hikaru's newest release was a bit of a disappointment. Passion is the theme song of Kingdom Hearts 2 and it's nothing compared to Hikari. The musical aspects of the song seem to be in a bit of a mess and it seems that she's trying to keep up with her current style yet trying to add a rock touch to it and it doesn't seem to be suceeding very well. It has somewhat of an ethereal feeling to it as well. Nevertheless, the arrangement of the song is quite amazing considering it's all done by Utada Hikaru herself. I've heard mixed opinions on this song so you really have to download it yourself to get an opinion. It does easily grow on you though.

I discovered them through the opening that they did for One Piece, Believe, which I still think is the best Folder5 song ever. Most of their songs tend to have a techno~ish mood to it. If you liked Believe, you'll like GEMINI as well. Both songs are similiar. They also remind me a bit of the Korean girl group T.T.MA.

I uploaded once way back but I love this song so much, it makes me happy to reupload it :) I made a discovery about this song while watching Rush Hour 2. Tian Mi Mi is originally a Deng Li Jun (Teresa Deng) song. If you're not familiar with Deng Li Jun, she was a very popular artist back many years ago. Her music is mostly traditional sounding but she made quite a name for herself. If you see RH2, this is the song sung by the woman on Ricky's Yacht during his big party. Jang Nara's version is a bit more poppier and modern. I love the lyrics to this song. It's about a woman who sees this man that she can't think of where she's seen him but he seems so familiar to her. She then realizes that it was in a dream that she saw him. Jang Nara, being Korean, has a little bit of an accent in her Mandarin, but nothing too bad.

I was kind of surprised when the song had a really tropical melody at the beginning, like those kind of melodies you imagine hearing in Hawaii with the little coconut cups. The song overall is just basically a really fun song. This is so easy to leave on repeat and you won't tire of it easily.

Anyhow, I'm sure not a lot of people know this but First Love is the main theme of a Japanese drama called Majo no Jouken. It was actually where I first heard the song but that's not important. On the soundtrack, there were many variations of the song done, instrumentals, by a man called Shima Ken and they are just wonderful. This one happened to be one of my favorites, think of First Love in a minor key. It is rather a sad version of the song, as if the original wasn't sad enough but it's just beautiful. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

It matches the melody well and it's very...Cyndi.
